Medieval lodge bed and breakfast is a beautifully kept 15th century house, with timber frames and solid oak beams. Built in 1489 the bed and breakfast oozes charm and warmth the minute you walk through the door.

If you are lucky enough to spend some time during the winter at medieval lodge then a large, raging open fire greets you. Medieval lodge is situated in the heart of the old town in Hastings with bars, restaurants, and antique shops only 5 minutes away. The beach, fishing huts and Country Park are also a 5-minute walk away.

Ricky and Jane Carter are the proprietors of this exquisite bed and breakfast and from the minute you arrive you will instantly feel at home. All rooms have colour TV, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, sewing kit, shoe shine, tea and coffee making facilities (inc hot soup, herbal teas and hot chocolate) mineral water and glasses. Bathrobes and all toiletries are included. If you would like to use your laptop with your stay with us we have free WiFi in all rooms.

Our 4-poster en-suite is ideal as a bridal suite and can also be used as a large family room. Children welcome, under 10's go free (based on sharing with two adults in room)

After a pleasant night sleep; breakfast will be served for you in our large kitchen/ diner. All tastes are catered for including: vegan, vegetarian and continental We have an extensive menu with fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, a large selection of cereals, croissants and jam, yoghurt, fresh grapefruit and fresh kippers fetched from the famous fishing huts that morning. If you are feeling really hungry why not try one of Ricky’s famous home cooked full English breakfasts, which is a treat in itself.
